When he finds out that he has cancer and only a few months to live he is afraid that no one will take care of his children. This film represents the beauty of life through many difficulties. Alejandro González Iñárritu directed, produced, and co-wrote Biutiful. It stars Javier Bardem.

2. Relatos Salvajes — Argentina

Wild Tales (Relatos Salvajes) is a 2014 Spanish black comedy anthology film directed by Damián Szifron. It is the composition of six shorts dealing with the themes of revenge and savagery. At the beginning of this movie, two flight passengers are in a conversation and realize they both know a man named Pasternak, who turns out to be the plane’s cabin chief. After talking to several people, they realize everybody knows Pasternak and has had some negative interaction with him in the past. The other five stories are also about revenge.

Even the Rain (También la Lluvia ) is a 2010 Spanish film directed by Icíar Bollaín. Sebastián is a Mexican director who, next to Spanish producer Costa, goes to Bolivia to shoot a film about Columbus’ conquest of the New World. But once there they find themselves in the middle of a war unexpected by both.

Fermat’s Room (La Habitación de Fermat) is a 2007 Spanish thriller film directed by Luis Piedrahita and Rodrigo Sopeña. Fermat invites five people to attend a convention of the country’s best mathematicians. They are trapped in a room where they have to solve many math puzzles in the limited time. Sounds fun? Well, let’s just say that if the puzzles are not solved the walls will contract. Will they escape from the room?

8. Yo Soy Cuba — Cuba/Russia

I Am Cuba (Yo Soy Cuba) is a 1964 Soviet-Cuban production, a composition of four short stories about the revolution. The film itself was not well-received by either the Russian or Cuban public. In fact, it was basically forgotten until it was discovered by filmmakers in the United States. The film directed by Mikhail Kalatozov at Mosfilm.
